Why it’s a great idea

People often become managers because they were great in a previous role. But managing people calls for a very specific set of skills. Decision-making for instance, delegation, prioritisation and planning, effective communication, performance monitoring, goal-setting, motivating others and more. These skills empower managers to unlock their team’s potential and inspire innovation, hard work and dedication. By contrast, managers who lack these skills crush morale, hinder career progress and create disengagement.

Delegates will leave our management programme clear about their role and what it will take for them to be the best managers they can be. They’ll have a refined set of relevant skills – from the coaching skills they need to achieve goals through others to the delegation skills that make sure they’re able to focus on priorities.
